The J's Racing Aero Bonnet Type-S Carbon is a performance hood designed for the Honda Civic EG6 with a B16A engine. It features a calculated design to create turbulence and draw hot air out of the engine bay, helping to lower water and intake air temperatures compared to the genuine part. The bonnet is constructed with a double structure for strength and uses a single piece of carbon cloth for an excellent finish, with a carbon front side and FRP back side. It is compatible with the normal striker and weighs approximately 7 kg, compared to the genuine part's 14 kg.

Its calculated aerodynamic design generates turbulence that effectively extracts hot air from the engine compartment, leading to a noticeable reduction in water and intake air temperatures when compared to the stock hood. This performance enhancement is crucial for engines like the B16A found in the Honda Civic EG6. Constructed for both durability and weight savings, this bonnet features a dual-layer design that maintains the strength of the original equipment. The use of a single piece of carbon cloth ensures a seamless and excellent finish. The front of the bonnet is carbon, and the back is FRP. An aluminum net is available separately for enhanced protection and aesthetics. This bonnet weighs approximately 7 kg, significantly less than the stock 14 kg hood, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics.
