Type-ST Carbon Fiber Decklid

The Anderson Composites Type-ST Decklid is a double-sided carbon fiber decklid with an integrated spoiler, designed to enhance the style and reduce the weight of your 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro. This decklid is meticulously hand-crafted using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. It features a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors, polished to a high-luster finish. Weighing approximately 9.2 lbs, it offers a significant weight reduction compared to the stock unit, which weighs 19.4 lbs. Installation utilizes OE hardware (not included). Please note that this decklid fits coupe models only and does not fit convertible models. It does not have a provision for the rear camera on 2019-2022 models. Occasional prepping of the third brake light opening may be necessary for an ideal fit, and replacement of the OE brake lamp seal is recommended using automotive-grade 3M tape (not included). Anderson Composites strongly advises against installing or reinstalling high profile wings or spoilers, as the downforce they create can damage the carbon fiber. Minor adjustments to mounting tabs may be necessary for correct fitment as part of the normal installation process. Due to the specialized nature of carbon fiber installation, professional installation by an expert experienced with composite materials is highly recommended.
