Type-TTII Carbon Fiber Hood

The Anderson Composites Type-TTII carbon fiber hood is meticulously hand-crafted for the 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro 2-door coupe. Utilizing a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood ensures a consistent weave pattern and a high carbon-to-resin ratio for exceptional stiffness and strength. It features a marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors for a polished, high-luster finish that protects the surface. The mesh screens are removable and paintable, offering customization options. This hood is constructed with a carbon fiber (A side) bonded to a fiberglass skeleton (B side) and mounts using OE hardware, which is not included. Important installation notes include the requirement for hood pins for safety, as Anderson Composites will not be liable for damages if they are not used. A heat shield is also required. Additionally, it is not recommended to reinstall OE gas shocks/dampers/struts, as they can place too much pressure on a composite hood, and it's advised to close the hood carefully to prevent damage. Minor adjustments may be necessary during installation, and professional installation by an expert experienced with carbon fiber or fiberglass components is recommended for the best possible fitment.
