The K&N 69 Series Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube induction system designed to fit certain Infiniti G35 models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to reduce airflow restriction, allowing the engine to inhale more air for increased power and acceleration.

The K&N 69-7081-1TS Typhoon air intake system is a performance-driven air induction solution designed for Infiniti G35 models from 2003 to 2006 with the 3.5L V6 engine. This system replaces the entire factory air intake, utilizing a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube with a durable silver powder-coat finish. The design significantly reduces airflow restriction, allowing the engine to breathe more freely and leading to a guaranteed increase in horsepower and improved throttle response. The Typhoon air intake system includes K&N's washable and reusable lifetime air filter, which requires service only after up to 100,000 miles of driving, depending on conditions. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The system also accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. This particular K&N Typhoon air intake system is CARB exempt and 50-state legal, featuring CARB EO Number: D-269-37, which specifically applies to the 2003-2006 Infiniti G35.
