The K&N 69-8616TS Typhoon air intake system is engineered to dramatically reduce air flow restriction and increase horsepower and torque for select Scion tC models. Constructed with an attractive, durable silver powder-coat finish, the intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and includes a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The system features an oversized, cone-shaped K&N high-flow air filter with an oiled cotton filter media, which can last up to 100,000 miles before needing service, depending on driving conditions. Installation is designed to be relatively straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points with common hand tools.
