Typhoon Air Intake System

The K&N 69-4519TP Typhoon air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube. This design dramatically reduces airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow, allowing your engine to inhale more air for increased usable power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The system features a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that integrates into the original air box space. Constructed from polished aluminum, the intake tube offers a durable, chrome-like finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor. It also includes a replacement silicone crankcase vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter requires servicing only every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and common tools like screwdrivers, a ratchet set, and wrenches. This K&N Typhoon air intake is engineered for 2010-2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS V8 models.
