Overview

The K&N 69-5306TS is a Typhoon Cold Air Induction Kit designed to provide a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and housing with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube.

This kit features a K&N high-flow air filter made of cotton gauze and includes all necessary mounting hardware. The aluminum intake pipe has a silver powder-coat finish and accommodates the factory breather assembly.

The K&N 69-5306TS Typhoon Cold Air Induction Kit is engineered to significantly reduce airflow restriction by replacing the factory air filter and intake housing with a smooth, mandrel-bent aluminum tube. This design allows your engine to inhale a greater volume of air, leading to increased usable power and acceleration across the entire RPM range. The system utilizes a K&N high-flow air filter constructed from cotton gauze, which is washable and reusable, with a typical service interval of up to 100,000 miles depending on driving conditions. The intake pipe is made from durable aluminum with an attractive silver powder-coat finish, and the kit includes all required mounting hardware for installation. The air filter is designed with a round outlet shape and a height of 5.563 inches. Installation is generally straightforward, often completed in 90 minutes or less, and the system is designed to integrate with the factory breather assembly. This cold air intake system aims to improve throttle response and enhance engine sound, providing a performance upgrade for compatible vehicles.
