The K&N 69 Series Typhoon Cold-Air Intake System is engineered to significantly improve your vehicle's air induction. It replaces the stock air filter and intake tube with a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube and an oversized, oiled cotton air filter. This design ensures higher airflow and superior filtration compared to the factory setup. The system is guaranteed to increase both horsepower and torque, with an estimated gain of 6.47 HP and 5.4 lb-ft of torque. Key components of this system include a silver aluminum intake tube and a red, cotton gauze air filter. Six stainless steel clamps are included for installation. The reusable air filter is designed for longevity, requiring cleaning only every 100,000 miles under typical highway use. Installation is straightforward, often completable within an hour using simple hand tools. This K&N Typhoon kit is designed for 2012-2017 Hyundai Veloster FWD models. The product is street legal in all U.S. states, and includes a CARB EO Number D-269-56.
