The K&N 69-1007TS Typhoon cold-air intake system is engineered as a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system for specific Honda Civic models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing to significantly reduce airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening air flow, allowing the engine to inhale a larger volume of air. The result is a guaranteed power gain and improved acceleration across the engine's RPM range. This cold-air intake features a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter, positioned near the passenger side wheel well to draw in outside air. The free-flowing aluminum tubing, finished in an attractive and durable silver powder-coat, delivers high volumes of clean air directly to the engine's throttle body. An oversized, cone-shaped air filter comes with a water-repellent DryCharger wrap for moisture protection, and the filter can last up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions.
