Description

The K&N 69-8605TS Typhoon Performance Air Intake System is engineered to deliver increased horsepower and improved throttle response for 2003-2007 Scion xB models equipped with the 1.5L F/I engine. The intake system includes a K&N high-flow air filter, which is washable and reusable, and comes with a water-repellent DryCharger filter wrap to protect against moisture. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically completed in 90 minutes or less, and replaces the stock OEM airbox and intake tract configuration. The system is noted for its silver finish. This air intake is backed by K&N's guaranteed horsepower increase. Specific gains are cited as 7.99 HP at 5450 RPM. The product also features an E.O. # D-269-30, applicable to 2003-2005 models.
