Typhoon Turbocharger for VW/Audi MQB EA888 1.8T/2.0T

The EQT Typhoon Turbocharger is a bolt-on solution engineered as a stock location replacement for VW/Audi MQB 1.8T/2.0T EA888.3 engines. This flagship turbocharger is designed for built engine and high-horsepower builds, capable of producing over 700 whp and 550 ft-lbs of torque. It features an all-new stainless steel turbine housing compatible with OE and aftermarket downpipes, and a dual ball bearing center section for enhanced durability and rapid spool. The compressor cover includes a 3-inch inlet and 1.5-inch outlet, feeding a custom billet 2618 extended tip compressor wheel measuring 62mm (inducer) and 76mm (exducer) with an 88.3mm extended tip. The turbine wheel measures 55mm (inducer) and 60mm (exducer). This combination allows for full boost by 4500rpm and power delivery up to 8,000rpm. It is provisioned for OE diverter valves and actuator mounting. While capable of being installed on a stock engine, special care during calibration is necessary to prevent exceeding factory engine limitations. It is highly recommended to upgrade fueling with a Brushless LPFP and 1300cc Multi-Port Injection, as well as an upgraded intercooler, piping kit, and intake to maximize performance. Additional required modifications include a 5Bar TMAP/PUT sensor kit and an upgraded clutch. Motor, transmission, and dogbone mounts are recommended. Note that the Typhoon outlet pipe is not compatible with the Unitronic pipe kit due to a length difference. Torque is electronically limited to preserve DSG gear set integrity. This kit includes proprietary inlet and outlet hoses, application-specific oil and coolant lines, and all necessary gaskets and seals.
