Overview

It utilizes an exclusive U.S. Military Spec 75D durometer polyurethane compound, described as hard as a bowling ball but with elasticity and memory.

This compound aims to provide performance comparable to metal mounts without the harshness on the chassis. It also resists deformation common in plastic mounts like Delrin or UHMW, making them durable and long-lasting. The kit is manufactured in the USA under ISO 9001:2015 certified standards.

This race-spec kit is constructed using AKG's exclusive U.S. Military Spec 75D durometer polyurethane compound, which is exceptionally hard yet retains elasticity and memory. This design offers performance benefits similar to solid metal mounts but without the associated chassis harshness. The 75D compound is recommended for purpose-built race or drift cars, high-horsepower applications, or those seeking maximum responsiveness and precise power transfer where NVH increase is acceptable. AKG's mounts are precision molded and CNC finished for a perfect fit, and are manufactured in the USA under ISO 9001:2015 certified standards. This kit includes: BMW E36 (1992-1999): 318, 323, 325, 328, M3 BMW E46 (1999-2006): 323, 325, 328, 330, M3 (NOT Xi models) BMW Z3 (1996-2002): 2.3, 2.5, 3.0, M BMW Z4 (2003-2008): 2.5, 3.0, M A note regarding installation: The passenger side motor mount must have a proper heat shield installed at all times. The product comes with a lifetime replacement warranty.
