The Mr. Gasket 5997 is an Ultra-Seal Performance Overhaul Gasket Kit designed for Pontiac V8 engines. This kit provides maximum sealing for bi-metal engines and is also suitable for all-iron or all-aluminum configurations.

It includes essential gaskets for the cylinder head, intake, exhaust, valve cover, and oil pan. Additionally, the kit contains Mr. Gasket Performance gaskets for the timing cover, fuel pump, thermostat, water pump, and rear main seals. This comprehensive set is suitable for original equipment replacement, high-performance street applications, drag racing, and oval track racing.
