The Verus Engineering UCW Rear Wing Kit is engineered to significantly increase rear downforce for the Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT86 (ZN6/ZC6). This upgrade aims to boost track confidence and reduce lap times by providing a substantial aerodynamic advantage. Developed using advanced analysis software like ANSYS Adjoint Solver and CFD, the airfoil is optimized for performance within its build volume, ensuring adequate airflow and effectiveness. The UCW wing is constructed with a Carbon Fiber Rear Wing element featuring a 2x2 Twill Pre-preg carbon construction that is autoclave cured and finished with an automotive high-gloss clear coat. The uprights are crafted from machined billet aluminum, and the trunk mounts are made from sheet steel, incorporating a load-transferring trunk system. All hardware is stainless steel, and the kit includes a drill template and trunk load transfer hardware for a seamless installation. The wing is capable of generating and withstanding over 500 lbs of downforce and can operate across a wide angle of attack, from 0 to 15 degrees. Verus Engineering has validated its performance through both CFD simulations and real-world track testing, demonstrating a strong correlation between data and results.
