This rear kit integrates advanced brake technology to reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The caliper is an extreme lightweight, one-piece design CNC machined from aircraft-grade billet aluminum, weighing just over 5 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design substantially improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. This kit utilizes two-piece rotors, which reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to overall performance. The unique slot design on the rotors helps expel gas and pad debris faster and reduces braking noise. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both slotted and cross-drilled rotor options; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled are better suited for daily driving. Included are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced brake dust, noise, and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker pedal response by preventing line expansion under pressure. This kit is specifically designed for the Nissan 240SX (1989-1994). It's important to note that the OEM handbrake will not function with this rear big brake system.
