The RCV Ultimate CV Carbon Fiber Prop Shaft for Polaris XP1000 (2014+) - 4 Seat (RZR-PS4-CF) is engineered with a carbon fiber design and hard-coated 7075 aluminum end yokes, significantly reducing weight compared to OEM components. This reduction in weight minimizes rotational mass, leading to improved acceleration and reduced vibration. The carbon fiber's inherent dampening properties also diminish shock load and stress on crucial drivetrain components such as the transmission and front differential. Unlike heavier steel tubes prone to deflection at high-RPM critical speeds, the low mass and high rigidity of this carbon fiber prop shaft enable it to achieve a critical speed far beyond the capabilities of any UTV. The RCV CV design ensures superior smoothness and strength compared to traditional u-joint prop shafts. This new RCV prop shaft incorporates 300M CV components for maximum durability, and both the prop shaft and its components are fully sealed and rebuildable. It features a 1-piece design, which eliminates the need for a carrier bearing. The prop shaft also includes a safety loop that bolts to the factory carrier bearing mount for enhanced containment.
