The Dana Spicer Ultimate Dana 60 Crate Axle is engineered for extreme off-road performance, providing Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT owners with enhanced strength and dependability. This front axle assembly features a robust full-float design, ensuring that vehicle weight is carried by the housing rather than the shaft, which translates to greater load-carrying capacity. Constructed with massive Spicer® 35 spline SAE-4340 nickel chromoly steel axle shafts, the Ultimate Dana 60 is built to withstand the rigors of off-road use, especially with larger tire fitments. It incorporates a 5.38 gear ratio and an Eaton Electronic Locker for maximum traction control on challenging terrains. Key components include Spicer® ring and pinion gearing, heavy-duty brackets, and upgraded brakes with a plug-and-play ABS system. The axle also features a dead spindle design and massive Spicer® SPL®-70 u-joints, exclusive to Dana, ensuring optimal performance. This specific model (10056030) is designed for the front of 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JL models and 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator JT models. The axle boasts a 69-inch hub surface to hub surface measurement, an 8 x 6.5 wheel bolt pattern, and uses 1350 series drive shaft u-joints and SPL70 axle shaft u-joints.
