The Snabb Ultimate Front Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered for performance-minded enthusiasts seeking to exceed the capabilities of the stock Volvo intercooler system in their 2004-2005 S60R/V70R models equipped with a V-Band K24 turbo. This complete kit replaces all factory charged air components from the turbo outlet to the throttle body inlet, delivering lower intake air temperatures, enhanced throttle response, and increased horsepower and torque with no risk of heat soak. The intercooler core is custom-designed at 22x13x2.75 inches with 2.5-inch inlet and outlet ports, optimized for maximum cooling efficiency by positioning it in front of the A/C condenser, unlike the stock sandwich-style mount. The kit replaces restrictive, failure-prone plastic factory piping with durable, black powder-coated 6061-grade aluminum pipes and robust 5mm thick, 5-layer black silicone hoses reinforced with 4 layers of Nomex. Specific features include a V-Band connection for V-Band K24 turbochargers, an integrated MAP/IAT sensor connection for MY 2003+ models, and a 1/8″ NPT bung on the throttle body charged air pipe for optional water injection.
