The Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) 22+ WRX Ultimate Intercooler Kit is engineered as a direct replacement for the stock intercooler, setting a benchmark in performance and quality. ETS was the first to offer a front mount intercooler for the 2022+ WRX, and this updated design maintains compatibility with the factory crash beam while delivering unmatched performance. This kit boasts significantly increased capacity, with over 300% more volume than the OEM intercooler, thanks to its stepped core design. This maximizes frontal surface area and volume for superior heat dissipation and consistent performance. The intercooler features a precise design with a core thickness of 7.0" and a height of 13.50", allowing it to fit seamlessly behind the factory crash beam and bumper cover without requiring modifications. Customization options include tailored piping, with a 2.5" option recommended for quick spool and street drivability supporting up to 750whp, and a 3.0" option for builds exceeding 750whp. The throttle body connection utilizes a V2 adapter with double O-rings for a leak-free seal. Additionally, the ambient temp sensor has been relocated for more accurate readings, and the kit includes a custom ETS windshield washer filler neck with a billet connection and screw-on cap for smoother charge pipe routing.
