The Philips UltinonSport LED provides a high-performance, cool white lighting solution for fog lights and powersport vehicle headlamps. Engineered to replace standard 9005 or 9006 halogen bulbs, these LED units utilize Automotive Grade SMD chips to provide a color temperature of up to 6000K, offering enhanced clarity and style for off-road or fog light use. The design features a compact, integrated driver box that simplifies installation by eliminating the need for bulky external controllers, allowing the bulb to fit into smaller housing optics. Built for reliability, each bulb incorporates AirCool technology, which consists of a built-in active cooling fan paired with an aluminum heat sink. This dual-action thermal management system effectively dissipates heat from critical components, supporting a rated lifetime of up to 2,000 hours—significantly longer than the halogen bulbs they replace. Important legal and compatibility information applies to this product. The use of these lamps for headlight applications is restricted to off-road use only as a replacement for 9005/9006 halogen bulbs. While replacement for fog light use may be permissible for both on-road and off-road applications, it is the user's responsibility to ensure compliance with all local legal requirements. Always verify that your vehicle's housing and electrical system are compatible with these LED specifications before installation.
