Ultra 4 Camshaft

The Skunk2 Ultra 4 Camshaft is Skunk2's newest and highest-performing camshaft for K-Series engines, offering significant performance gains. This camshaft is engineered for aggressive applications, including modified drag cars, high-compression road racing builds (2.4L+), high-stroke engines, and advanced turbocharger setups. It aims to maximize power across the entire powerband, with a particular emphasis on mid-range to top-end gains. The Ultra 4 camshaft can deliver up to 80HP+ while producing substantial torque and improved engine response. Skunk2 utilizes Fast Ramp and AMAX profile technology for increased performance and response from idle to redline. AMAX technology maximizes the area under the lift curve without compromising reliability, while Fast Ramp technology, inspired by Formula One racing, reduces seat timing to increase cylinder pressure and torque without affecting valvetrain longevity. The camshaft features hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces. Fitment includes the 2002-2006 Acura RSX (Type-S), 2004-2008 Acura TSX (Base), and 2006-2011 Honda Civic (Si). Skunk2 recommends pairing this camshaft with their Pro Series Valve Springs (for lower RPM/compression builds) or Pro Series "XP" Valve Springs (for higher RPM/compression builds), as well as Pro Series Titanium Retainers for overall stability.
