The Tamco Paint HC2104 is an ultra-high solids clearcoat engineered for the collision and custom paint industries, offering professional-grade mil build, gloss retention, and D.O.I. performance. Its 54% ready-to-spray solid content allows users to bury artwork and tape lines efficiently with just three coats, significantly reducing the need for multiple clear and block sessions. Once cured, the finish provides ample material for leveling tape lines and proceeding directly to final polish. Featuring versatile direct-to-metal (DTM) resins, this clearcoat can be applied directly over metal surfaces. These resins are the same formulations used in Tamco's DTM primers, allowing for the direct application of clearcoat over metal artwork. The product follows a standard 2:1 mixing ratio and is available in comprehensive kits that include 76 Series hardeners and optional urethane reducers to suit various environmental conditions.
