The Valenti ULTRA Jewel LED tail lamps provide a distinctive, high-tech appearance for your 2022+ Subaru WRX, moving beyond the standard factory design. These lamps feature a full LED array, utilizing 168 high-output LEDs per unit, including a light-guide marker lamp for a seamless, continuous illuminated effect. The turn signals are amber and offer an engaging sequential animation, compliant with safety standards in Japan and Europe (E-mark certified). For those preferring a traditional blinker, this functionality can be enabled through simple re-wiring. Installation is designed to be straightforward, with a plug-and-play setup for standard functions taking around 30 minutes. Valenti has also incorporated built-in resistors to ensure proper operation without hyper-fast blinking, a common issue with LED upgrades. These lamps are available in red or smoke lens colors, both illuminating identically. A notable feature is the "Opening and Ending Action" (OEA) animation, which sequences upon vehicle locking or unlocking. This sophisticated feature requires additional wiring to the interior fuse panel and may add approximately three hours to the installation. It's important to note that OEA may not be compatible with all aftermarket alarm or remote start systems. Additionally, the OEA feature requires constant power, drawing a small current when the vehicle is off, which could potentially lead to battery drain if the car is not driven regularly or for extended periods. Each set includes the left and right tail lamps, a wiring harness for OEA functions, and an instruction manual.
