Ultra Series Rear Lower Control Arm Set

The Skunk2 Racing Ultra Series Control Arm Set represents a significant advancement in suspension components, engineered for the demanding needs of racers and performance enthusiasts. These rear lower control arms are CNC machined from high-strength, forged 7075-T6 aluminum, a material chosen for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and fatigue resistance. These Ultra Series control arms are designed to be a direct replacement for the '89-'95 Civic/CRX and '90-'01 Integra models. They offer substantial weight savings, being 44% lighter than OEM arms, and are also 19% lighter and 27% stronger than previous Skunk2 Pro Series arms. The construction includes a spherical bearing at the trailing arm mount to eliminate bushing twist, and tuned durometer elastomeric bushings for the subframe side to dampen noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) while maintaining accurate suspension geometry under aggressive driving conditions. For enhanced shock control, Delrin bushings are used at the shock mounting position. An optional upgrade is available to replace the subframe side elastomeric bushing with a high-load steel spherical bushing for a no-compromise track setup. Skunk2 recommends complementing these rear lower control arms with their Rear Camber Kits, Lower Arm Bars, and Strut Tower Bars for maximum suspension performance.
