The APR Ultracharger System is a supercharger upgrade designed to dramatically increase horsepower and torque for the 3.0 TFSI engine. It removes a significant pre-supercharger restriction, allowing for uninterrupted airflow. This system features stunning carbon fiber and cast-aluminum construction for a clean and simple installation.

The APR Ultracharger System is engineered to maximize the power potential of the 3.0 TFSI engine by addressing a critical airflow restriction. The factory throttle body is a major bottleneck, with a cross-sectional area approximately 25% smaller than the supercharger's inlet, leading to significant horsepower losses. APR's solution is a larger throttle body with a cross-sectional area ~28% larger than stock, completely eliminating this restriction and ensuring maximum airflow into the supercharger. When combined with APR’s Supercharger and Crank Pulleys, the Ultracharger System can achieve up to an astonishing 542 HP. To fully realize the system's potential, the APR Ultracharger ECU Upgrade is required. This upgrade delivers an outstanding and smooth driving experience with thrilling wide-open throttle acceleration, and is included as a free upgrade for owners of an APR Stage II ECU Upgrade. Calibration reports show significant gains, with up to +196 HP and +143 ft-lbs of torque when using 104 AKI fuel. The system is compatible with various Audi models including the S4/S5 (B8), S4/S5 (B8.5), A4/A5/Q5 (B8.5), SQ5 (B8.5), A6/A7 (C7), and A4/A5/A6/A7/S4/S5 (Simos 16). It is important to note that transmission software may be required to achieve power figures beyond the factory redline.
