Overview
Constructed from 0.250” thick steel with MIG and TIG welding, this arm includes a QA1 Chrome Moly spherical rod end with a self-lubricating race and a 4140 Chrome Moly adjuster. The design reuses factory hardware and is a 100% bolt-on item. It is available in a durable powder coat finish in Black or Red.

This new upper rear control arm replaces the factory stamped control arm reducing wheel hop and increasing traction. The S197 Mustang chassis uses a 3-link rear suspension system with a panhard bar to control the rear end under the vehicle. Under hard loads the factory pieces tend to flex and rubber bushings deflect leading to poor traction and erratic handling. Replacing the factory pieces with stronger well designed items eliminates this flex allowing for better control of the vehicle and improved traction during launches.
Replace your factory upper control arm with this new arm for improved traction and handling. Featuring a Chrome Moly spherical rod end and easy adjustments, this arm is a versatile and durable upgrade for your vehicle.
