UMI Performance 71-80 GM H-Body Adjustable Lower Control Arms - Rod Ends

The UMI Performance 5016-R is a set of rear lower control arms designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for 1971-1980 GM H-Body vehicles. These control arms aim to minimize wheel hop, improve traction, and enhance track consistency.

Constructed from drawn-over-mandrel mild steel tubing with a 1.250" OD x 0.120" wall thickness, they feature CNC machining and TIG welding. The design incorporates polyurethane bushings for quiet operation at the chassis and Teflon-lined spherical rod ends for bind-free adjustment at the rear end, allowing for forward or backward movement of the rear end to accommodate larger tires and aftermarket installations. Installation is a straightforward, 1-hour bolt-on process requiring no drilling and utilizing OEM hardware.
