UMI Performance 78-88 G-Body S10 Tubular Front Upper A-Arms Adjustable

UMI's 3056 adjustable upper a-arms are designed for Pro-Touring, road race, auto-x, and hot street corner carving. They feature race-quality rod ends for shim-free camber and caster adjustment and smooth travel. The arm has a relocated ball joint pad for increased caster and improved stability and steering feel, and a shortened cross shaft to ball joint distance. Recommended for all racing applications, this arm includes 1/2" taller ball joints for improved camber curve. 100% manufactured, tested, and raced out of Philipsburg, PA – USA.

These control arms feature a relocated ball joint pad for increased caster and improved steering feel without excess shims. The 1/2" taller ball joint further improves the camber curve. Constructed with a CNC laser cut ball joint mounting pad and 0.120" wall thickness 1.250" diameter DOM tubing, these arms are TIG welded for superior strength and clean looks. They also include 4130 CrMo cross shafts, CNC machined & zinc plated, and polyurethane bump stops.

Installation is straightforward as these are direct bolt-in compatible with factory or UMI lower a-arms. They may also work in conjunction with other lower a-arms and/or spindles (contact UMI to discuss). The package includes recommended alignment specs and detailed installation instructions. Note that upper a-arm P/N 3056-2 includes 1/2" taller ball joints and works with factory spindles; in most cases, shims are not needed, though shims may still be required on some applications.

These control arms are compatible with a wide range of G-Body and S10 vehicles, including various models of Buick Regal, Chevrolet El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo, S10, S10 Blazer, GMC Caballero, S15, S15 Jimmy, Sonoma, Oldsmobile Cutlass variants, and Pontiac Bonneville and Grand Prix. Specific drive types like '2WD' for S-series trucks are important for correct fitment.
