Description

The UMI PERFORMANCE 1020 is a set of lower control arm torque box reinforcements designed for 1994-2004 Ford Mustangs. These reinforcements are crucial for addressing cracked torque boxes, a common issue in aggressively driven or street-driven vehicles, particularly those with 5-speed transmissions. They are essential when installing aftermarket control arms, polyurethane bushings, or UMI lift bars.

Installation is straightforward, taking approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, and the reinforcements can be either welded or bolted in. All necessary hardware and instructions are included. The reinforcements are supplied in bare metal and will require painting after installation.
