UMI Performance 82-92 GM F-Body K-member LSX Engines Coil Overs - Red

UMI's direct bolt-in replacement K-member removes 20 lbs of front end weight. It features strong dual tube construction and is fabricated from CNC machined 3/16" mild steel. Included fabricated motor mounts are designed for LSX engines, while strong boxed mounting points locate both factory and aftermarket suspension. Lightening holes are CNC machined into the mounting plates, and the tubular construction provides added clearance for aftermarket exhaust. The modular design permits coil-over use as delivered. It can be converted to use stock springs and struts by removing the top bracket and adding a UMI spring perch (P/N 2405). The product is manufactured with pride in Philipsburg, PA - USA and is available in powder-coated red or black finish. It is designed to be used with coil-over setups only and does not allow the use of factory springs. It was designed around the LS1 oil pan and also works with the Holley 302 oil pan. It can also be used with a factory SBC engine by not installing the included LSX motor mount stands.
