This transmission cross-member is designed to bolt a TH400 (short tail) automatic transmission into a 98-02 Camaro or Firebird. This cross-member is 100% bolt in and requires no drilling, no cutting and no welding. It bolts in place of the factory transmission cross-member using the existing holes.

The UMI Performance 2222-R is a transmission crossmember designed to adapt a TH400 short tail automatic transmission to a 1998-2002 Camaro or Firebird. It is specifically compatible with TH400 transmissions that have a 4-inch tail shaft.
