UNDER BODY BOX

Two separate horizontally hinged doors allow you to see the box’s full content when the doors are opened. It features stainless steel full size paddle handle rotary latches and heavy-duty chain supports. The box has a black powder coat finish as standard, with a white powder coat available upon consultation. Mounting brackets are not included, and shelf options are available through factory consultation. The construction is 14 gauge cold rolled steel with a five-stage metal pretreatment anti-corrosion protection system. Welds are full arc welds, not spot welds. The door is attached to the hull with stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and 5/16” stainless steel hinge pins. The door is held open with heavy-duty machine chains that are easily detachable for a 180° drop. A full-size, stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch is recessed into the door, and two keys are furnished per box. The door can be closed with the latch in the locked position. A ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a recessed channel around the full perimeter of the door opening, and the door has a formed knife edge on all four sides that contacts the seal when closed.
