The kit includes an under-drive crankshaft pulley, a new crankshaft bolt, and a ribbed belt.

Constructed from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized for durability, the pulley features a ground-finished, heat-treated stainless steel ring to prevent wear against the oil seal. This design promotes increased horsepower, improved throttle response, and quicker engine revving.

The Neuspeed Power Pulley Kit solves the problem of parasitic drag caused by engine accessories, which steal power from your drivetrain. By using a 20% under-drive ratio, the system allows the engine to spin the alternator and air conditioning compressor less aggressively, resulting in a dyno-proven gain of 5-7 horsepower and snappier throttle response. Precision-machined from 7075 aluminum, each pulley is hard anodized for wear resistance and includes a specialized stainless steel ring to protect against oil seal abrasion. The complete kit weighs only 13 ounces, significantly reducing rotational mass compared to the 4-pound factory component. Compatibility includes 2014-up Audi A3/S3 (8V) and TT/TTS (8S), along with 2015-up VW GTI, Golf R, Golf, and Alltrack, plus 2018-up Tiguan, 2019-up GLI, 2019-up Arteon, and 2020-up Passat models with 1.8L or 2.0L TSI engines. Professional installation is recommended for this kit. A factory-specific tool is required for proper removal and installation to ensure correct pulley seating and fastener torque.
