The ECS Tuning C7 A6/A7/S6/S7/RS7 Underbody X-Brace is a chassis stiffening component designed to improve steering feel and handling. It replaces the stock hollow stamped and welded steel chassis brace with a full 6061-T6 billet aluminum construction. By reducing torsional flex, this X-Brace fully braces the steering rack to the rear portion of the front subframe.

The ECS Tuning C7 A6/A7/S6/S7/RS7 Underbody X-Brace is a performance upgrade designed to substantially stiffen your vehicle's chassis. It replaces the factory hollow stamped and welded steel brace with a robust X-Brace constructed from full 6061-T6 billet aluminum. By reducing torsional flex, this X-Brace creates a solid connection between the steering rack and the rear portion of the front subframe. This direct bracing results in significantly improved steering response, accuracy, and feel, while also reducing slop and enhancing cornering capabilities. The brace utilizes factory mounting locations and installs with factory hardware. Additionally, it is compatible with ECS Streetshields (ES4475699 and ES4355106) or the OEM plastic transmission belly pan for a fortified underbody. Installation is facilitated by the use of factory mounting locations and hardware. The kit includes new torque-to-yield subframe hardware required for installation. Notably, the manufacturer states there is no increase in NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) after installation. Refer to the provided installation PDF for complete instructions.
