By replacing the factory alternator, crank, and water pump pulleys with these underdrive units, you can unleash additional horsepower from your 4.6L V8 engine. Their brilliant polished finish adds a touch of style to your engine bay, providing added flash and visual appeal. The kit can typically be installed in under 2 hours, making it an accessible upgrade for many enthusiasts. The pulleys are designed for late 2001 to 2004 Mustang GT models equipped with the short water pump pulley featuring a bowed-in face, and they reuse the factory serpentine belt. A technical note indicates that Ford changed the water pump design midway through the 2001 model year, introducing a shorter shaft.
