UniE85 Ethanol Content Sensor Kit

The Unitronic UniFLEX Hardware Kit (UH013-FLA) is engineered to simplify flex fuel integration. This comprehensive kit includes the proprietary UniFLEX ethanol device and a genuine Continental ethanol content sensor, complete with all required fittings and harnesses, enabling a true plug-and-play installation experience. The system is Bluetooth® enabled, facilitating wireless connectivity with iOS and Android mobile devices through the Unitronic UniE85 Manager App, which allows users to monitor ethanol content, view fuel temperature, and calculate fuel blends. This hardware kit seamlessly integrates ethanol content data directly to the vehicle's ECM via CAN. It features a plug-and-play harness, eliminating the need for cutting, splicing, or ECM re-pinning. The UniE85 Manager App provides additional functionality, including the ability to customize sensor calibration offsets and CAN integrations, as well as offering an E85 mix calculator for achieving desired fuel blends. Over-the-air (OTA) updates are also supported. To utilize the full capabilities of the UniFLEX Hardware Kit, Unitronic FLEX enabled ECU Software is required and is not included. Currently, only the MK8 GTI is supported with FLEX enabled ECU Software, with support for MK8 Golf R and 8Y S3 coming soon. The UniFLEX Bracket for MQB Chassis is recommended for optimal performance and is sold separately.
