The Unitronic UH009-EXA is a high-performance 3-inch downpipe engineered for 2.0 TSI FWD applications. Constructed from robust 3" T304 stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing and T316 stainless steel V-band flanges, this downpipe is built for longevity and maximum airflow. Its TIG-welded fabrication ensures durability and resistance to harsh conditions. This downpipe features a 200-cell high-flow metallic catalytic converter designed to minimize power loss while ensuring efficient exhaust flow. Transitions are flow-matched for optimal performance, and a corrugated stainless steel flex section allows for engine movement without stressing factory mounts. An OEM-inspired heat shield protects against radiant heat in the exhaust tunnel. Installation is facilitated by Unitronic's easy-to-use v-band exhaust fastening system, ensuring a precise and effortless fit. The design maintains OEM oxygen sensor placement, eliminating the need for extensions or harness modifications. It is a direct bolt-on component that utilizes factory exhaust hangers without requiring additional modifications. Hardware is included for installation.
