The Private Label Mfg PLM-CAT-3.0-MET-400 is a universal catalytic converter engineered to enhance exhaust flow, improve performance, and meet emissions standards. Its EPA-compliant 400-cell metallic core optimizes filtration and airflow, contributing to better engine efficiency. Constructed from durable stainless steel, this converter features a 4" body length and a 7" overall length. It is available with inlet/outlet diameters of 2.5" or 3.0" and has a body diameter of 3.0" and 3.5". The design allows for easy cut-and-clamp or weld-on installation. This catalytic converter is OBD-II compliant and is 48-state legal. However, it is restricted in California and New York and is not for OEM factory replacement. While EPA compliant, it does not guarantee passing local emissions tests or inspections. Buyers are advised to check their local laws regarding aftermarket catalytic converters. For those seeking maximum flow with the least restriction, a 200-cell catalytic converter is recommended.
