The CSF #8110 Universal Dual-Pass Oil Cooler is a high-performance cooling solution originally designed for direct-fitment as a front mount center oil cooler for Porsche 911/930 models (up to 1989), specifically for IROC-style or similar front bumpers. Beyond its original application, CSF recognized its potential for a variety of custom universal applications due to its size and mounting capabilities. This dual-pass oil cooler boasts 10 rows of high-pressure bar/plate construction, offering robust durability and efficient heat exchange. The core dimensions are 21.50″ L x 5.75″ H x 2.25″ W, with an overall dimension of 24″L x 5.75″H x 2.25″W. It features universal-style M22 x 1.50 female fittings on the same side, angled at 15 degrees for bumper clearance, and is designed for use with M30 / -16AN / -12AN union adapters. The internal fluid capacity is 0.89L. CSF's design offers distinct advantages over conventional plate-type or stacked oil coolers. Its rectangular size allows for placement in tighter spaces or areas with limited vertical surface area, helping to avoid airflow issues to other components. The side-mounted inlet/outlet ports simplify oil line routing, eliminating the need for lines to cross the entire cooler. Furthermore, the CSF oil cooler is built for enhanced robustness and durability, capable of withstanding higher peak burst rates and significant vibration and debris, making it suitable for areas like the front fascia, differential, or side vents.
