The Trackspec U5512SHL-B Large Rectangular Universal Hood Louvers are designed to enhance your vehicle's performance and cooling efficiency. These louvers feature an optimized design that maximizes extraction flow velocities when the vehicle is in motion, effectively reducing under-hood pressure. This reduction in pressure helps to decrease front-end lift and increase net vehicle downforce. Beyond aerodynamic benefits, these hood louvers significantly reduce under-hood temperatures by efficiently extracting heat. This process also allows for the entry of fresh, cold air into the engine bay, which can maximize the lifespan of engine accessories by lowering their overall operating temperature. Furthermore, by increasing the flow of dense, cold air through the radiator, these louvers promote lower coolant temperatures, contributing to a more stable engine environment. Constructed with a louver backbone design that maintains hood structural rigidity, these louvers are contoured to fit your specific hood's curve. They install easily using the supplied templates. The kit includes templates for cutting, rivets, washers, installation instructions, and necessary spacers to ensure a factory-quality installation. The louvers come in a durable, satin black powder-coated finish for a clean and lasting appearance. Their dimensions are 12" Height, 5.5" Front Width, and 5.5" Rear Width.
