The Planted Seat Bracket serves as a crucial adapter between your vehicle's floor and an aftermarket seat, accounting for the typically uneven surfaces of car floors. Each bracket is meticulously designed using the specific vehicle's floor as a reference, ensuring a precise, bolt-in fit. This driver-side bracket is engineered for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic. Constructed from 3/16-inch thick steel, the bracket is laser-cut and hand-welded to guarantee exceptional strength and durability, resisting bending or warping. It features pre-slotted holes compatible with sliders from major manufacturers such as Recaro, Sparco, Cobra, Bride, and more. For less common sliders or direct mounting, there is ample space to drill custom hole patterns. Planted offers two bolt pattern options: Standard (includes Recaro pattern, excludes Cobra/Scheel-Mann) and Alternate (includes Cobra/Scheel-Mann pattern, replaces Recaro). Buyers should note that certain sliders, like Cobra Wide and Scheel-Mann, may require the "Alternate Bolt Pattern" option or slight modification to the standard pattern. Bride sliders might also need feet removed and custom hole drilling due to varying widths. Installation of aftermarket seats may trigger vehicle warning indicators related to airbags, weight, or other sensors from the factory seat. It is the end-user's responsibility to determine if an electronic resistor can be used to eliminate these indicators. Professional installation is recommended.
