Overview

The MSD 31529 is a universal spark plug wire set designed for high performance. Each 12-inch length of Super Conductor Wire features 40-50 ohms of resistance, the lowest among helically wound wires, due to its tight-wound copper alloy conductor. This construction minimizes spark energy loss. The wires are encased in a durable silicone and synthetic outer sleeve resistant to heat, abrasion, and tears. They also incorporate an effective EMI choke to prevent interference with vehicle electronics.

The MSD 31529 Super Conductor spark plug wire set is engineered for optimal performance and durability. It features an 8.5mm diameter with an exceptionally low resistance of only 40-50 ohms per foot, achieved through a tightly wound copper alloy conductor. This design ensures maximum spark energy reaches the spark plug with minimal loss. The construction of these wires includes a proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic materials for the outer sleeve, providing superior resistance to high temperatures, abrasion, and tearing. Internally, the conductor is wound tightly around a special core, creating an effective Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) choke. This feature suppresses EMI, preventing it from interfering with sensitive vehicle electronics. These wires utilize Dual Crimp terminals, which feature two distinct crimps: one securing the wire sleeve and a separate one gripping the conductor for a reliable connection.
