Overview

This kit provides the necessary components to build a steering column for nearly any platform.

It includes a 35-inch outer shaft of 1.250-inch diameter .065 wall 4130 Chromoly tubing and a 38-inch inner shaft of 0.75-inch diameter .065 wall 4130 Chromoly tubing with a pre-welded top flange. The kit also comes with two black steering shaft bushings, a lock collar, and a Motion Raceworks 5/6 bolt quick release with a hub and horn button delete.

The Motion Raceworks DIY Lightweight Chromoly Steering Column Kit is an ideal solution for custom chassis builds and unique applications where direct bolt-on steering columns are not available. This comprehensive kit empowers you to construct a steering column tailored to almost any vehicle platform on the market. The inner shaft measures 38 inches in length and is crafted from 0.75-inch diameter, .065-inch wall 4130 Chromoly tubing, complete with a pre-welded top flange for ease of installation. Included in the kit are two black steering shaft bushings, a lock collar, and a Motion Raceworks 5/6 bolt quick-release hub assembly, which comes with a horn button delete. Optional accessories are available to further customize your setup, including Grant steering wheels (available in yellow stripe or all black), steering wheel buttons, and an adaptor U-joint designed to connect the 3/4-inch round column output to a 3/4 DD steering shaft.
