The Hayden OC-1678 is a universal transmission oil cooler engineered to provide superior cooling performance in a compact, space-efficient design. Utilizing a unique plate and fin construction, this cooler delivers exceptional heat transfer capabilities. Patented internal turbulation further enhances efficiency by increasing heat dissipation while maintaining a minimal pressure drop, ensuring optimal fluid flow. This heavy-duty cooler is suitable for applications with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of up to 24,000 pounds. It boasts 33% greater cooling efficiency than traditional tube fin designs, making it an effective solution for managing transmission fluid temperatures under demanding conditions. The cooler features pre-drilled mounting plates for straightforward installation and has a 3/8-inch inlet size. It is important to note that this is an add-on transmission cooler and is not intended for direct replacement of the original equipment (OE) cooler.
