By simply plugging into the OBDII port, it establishes a WiFi connection, enabling you to perform a range of tasks including flashing tunes, datalogging, clearing fault codes, and conducting diagnostics directly from your iOS or Android device, all without the hassle of cables. This adapter boasts automatic protocol support, intelligently utilizing ENET for F/G-series BMWs and Supra MKV, CAN for most E-series BMWs (also used by xHP), and K-Line for older E-series models. It is engineered with a modern chipset by MHD engineers for reliability and speed, surpassing previous generation adapters. Key features include fast ENET performance on supported platforms, automatic protocol selection for a no-manual-setup experience, and a sleep mode to minimize battery draw when the vehicle is parked. It also supports over-the-air firmware updates, ensuring your adapter stays current. The compact and durable housing is built for daily use. It is compatible with various popular applications such as MHD (all versions), BimmerCode™, xHP™ and xDelete™, Bimmergeeks Protool™, and Bimmer-Tool™, as well as other apps supporting KWP over KLINE, KWP over CAN, UDS over CAN, and UDS over ENET protocols. It is important to note that while the adapter provides the hardware connection, it does not include any necessary tuning or app licenses, which must be purchased separately within the respective applications (e.g., MHD).
