The Legendary Ironman kit uses extremely durable American Sintered Iron friction material. It's designed for high torque holding capacity, offering nearly double the clamping force of other kits. This kit allows for some slippage on takeoff, making it a reliable choice for repeatable endurance. It is engineered for dedicated high-powered race vehicles, with aggressive, on/off clutch engagement and is available in sprung and unsprung hub. It will not introduce clutch chatter but may have light engagement noise and some gear rattle. This kit is not recommended for daily use and is recommended for race applications only.
