The Forge Motorsport UP GTI 1.0 TSI Induction Kit (FMINDK30) is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of the VW Up 1.0 TSI and GTI. This kit features a custom-designed, black powder-coated aluminum housing that not only provides a durable, OEM-like finish but also shields the included Pipercross filter from engine heat soak. The development team carefully selected the mounting location to optimize performance and aesthetics within the Up's compact engine bay. This induction kit is designed to deliver noticeable gains, with the manufacturer claiming 5 bhp and 6 lb/ft of torque throughout the rev range. The larger bore, smooth-finish Forge silicone hose promotes optimal airflow, and is available in black, red, or blue. The Pipercross filter is washable, reusable, and manufactured in Great Britain with layered multi-density foam technology for superior engine protection and consistent flow. For additional heat reflection, optional gold tape can be applied to the underside of the aluminum housing. Installation is straightforward, with an estimated fitting time of 20-30 minutes, and requires no permanent modifications, allowing for a simple return to the stock setup. Forge Motorsport offers a lifetime warranty on this product, though air filters are excluded from this warranty. It is crucial to adhere to the recommended torque setting of 2-2.4Nm when fitting the hose clamp to avoid crushing the part and compromising fitment or performance.
