The Genuine Ford Engine Oil Cooler Kit, part number 3C3Z-6A810-A, is the most up-to-date version of the OEM oil cooler for specific Ford 6.0L Powerstroke engines. The kit includes OEM gaskets and an oil cooler screen, and features an updated extra cooling layer for improved thermal management. This oil cooler is critical for maintaining proper engine temperatures. A variation of more than 20-25 degrees between the Engine Oil Temperature (EOT) and Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) can indicate that the oil cooler is failing. Replacing a defective or failing oil cooler with anything other than the updated OEM version is strongly advised against, as it can lead to future issues. The part number 3C3Z-6A810-A supersedes the original part number 3C3Z-6A642-CA. The newer kits now come with all black gaskets, whereas the older kits may have included a blue gasket. This ensures you are receiving an authentic Ford OEM part. This engine oil cooler kit is compatible with a range of Ford vehicles, including the E-150, E-250, E-350/E-350 Super Duty, E-450 Super Duty, Excursion, F-250 Super Duty, F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty, and F-550 Super Duty models, primarily those equipped with the 8-cylinder 6.0L diesel engine.
