This valve cover replaces the original plastic component, addressing the tendency for the integrated positive crank ventilation valve (PCV) to stick, which can lead to excessive oil consumption, carbon buildup, and diagnostic trouble codes. The kit includes the valve cover gasket, seals for the spark plug tubes, and an oil cap with its seal. Note that while the front clip-in part installs similarly to the original, all-metal covers are designed with a snugger fit on the front clips.
