Upgraded AVC Manifold for N14 Engines

The JMTC Upgraded AVC Manifold is constructed from durable aluminum, offering a significant upgrade over the stock OEM plastic manifold for N14 engines. By replacing the plastic component, which is prone to cracking, warping, or melting and creating leak points, the JMTC manifold enhances engine reliability. The design of the AVC manifold re-routes intake gasses, similar to the N18 engine, to reduce the accumulation of dried, burnt oil on the valves. This helps decrease the frequency of necessary valve cleaning and prevents potential engine failures caused by material degradation. The manifold also replaces brittle plastic flex tubing with more durable rubber tubing for improved longevity. Installation requires reusing the rear bolt to the manifold bracket and may necessitate new hardware for the MAP sensor and airbox mount, with specific part numbers for throttle body screws (ES3143029) and MAP sensor/airbox mount screws (ES2952376) recommended. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board regulations. The manifold is compatible with various MINI models, including John Cooper Works, S, S Clubman, and John Cooper Works Clubman variants, from model years 2007 through 2012, across chassis codes R55, R56, R57, R58, and R59. It is specifically noted as being for N14 engines only.
